Easy ways to remove candles from their molds
Give a second life to your favorite candle molds and jars with these simple tips. It's common that, once the candles are finished, we want to give a second life to our favorite molds and jars to decorate the home. However, peeling off the wax is a task that can be a bit tedious.

That's why we share some easy ways to peel candles from their molds: the key is to use certain techniques and materials to get the jar clean for reuse.

Freezing the wax
One of the easiest ways to remove candles from their mold is to freeze the wax, as the cold causes the wax to harden and srink, making it easier to remove.

To do this, you must place the candle in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Then, you can use a dull knife or a spoon to loosen the wax and, once it has come out and there is no residue, you can wash the mold with soap and water to reuse it.
If the mold is made of glass or metal, you can use vinegar or a little oil to finish cleaning it, so that it is shiny and shiny, without opacity.

Heating in the oven
Another simple method is to heat them in an oven, especially if you want to dissolve several candles at once. The first thing to do is to scrape off as much wax as possible with a dull knife or spoon.
Then, you must heat the oven to 180ºC and line a baking tray with aluminum foil to place the candles upside down. Leave the tray in the oven for 15 minutes for the wax to melt and, finally, remove it, clean the inside of each mold with a paper napkin and wash each one.

Hot water
Although this method is similar to the bain-marie, it is simpler. To remove the wax from the mold, you must heat water until it boils and pour it into the candle to soften it.
Then, you must remove the wax remains with the help of a dull knife or spoon, and then clean the residues with the help of a paper with vinegar. Finally, you can wash with soap and water to reuse the mold.
My favorite method is the first one! I hope you find these recommendations useful.
